Buildpic: The unit is cool enough, but the background looks cartoonic and highly unrealistic. The color differences between the water and the sand makes no sense and the underwater sight is surprizingly clear after the first dirt layer. The intense light is in sharp contrast to the dirt. Unit - 3, background - 1, merging - 3.

Buildpic: 7

Model: First of all, I should tell you that this model isn't made by Central Consciousness, but by Cavedog themselves. If you look closely at the Rocko unitpic in the game, you will suddenly realise that this is the unit captured on that photo. It's true, for unknown reasons, it seems like Cavedog made a series of last minute edits, leaving interesting traces behind them. Nevertheless, I can understand the change of the model because this one does, quite frankly not look all that good. The Rocko ain't a supermodel either at close up, but there is something with the way the launchers are constructed on this unit that doesn't feel right [3]. The texturing is very Cavedog alike for this unit IS textured by Cavedog after all. However, again, the launchers fail me with odd shading and peculiar placing of ill-chosen team colors [4]. The corpse file leads us to Rocko's wreckage and since the units are very look-alike, the stunt does pass [1].

Model: 8

Script: Scripting is fine mstly, as it is ripped directly off the Rocko (with very similar design, it was probably ment to use the same script). Something I've disliked with the Rocko kbot for some time now are two frames that show traces of broken contuinity. The (left, I think) leg does upon travelling from point 0 to point 4 touch point 3 and then 2, jumping back and forth in mid-step.

Script: 8

BalanceBalance sucks. Period. This unit costs two and a half times as much as an ordinary Rocko (275 to 117 metal) and should probably have some gains from the increased price tag. Sadly, the only improvement is that the damage/second ratio has been rased with a poor 30% (from 25 to 33). It even got slightluy less armor. It's useless, it really is. There will be no one with a sane mind that would ever bother to build one of these units and paying at least 200M overprice.

Balance: 2

My score: Nope, I didn't like it especially much, thus it bothers me to see the same model in two pics in the lab. The firing sequence is in my opinion ugly and since this unit lacks a lot in the balance, there is nothing that can satisfy my senses, so it better should satisfy my hunger. Here comes barbeque!!
