Buildpic: The unit looks nice and those little light on every tentacle looks cool. Full point here, no doubt [4]. The background is.. well.. it is a heaven and there is not much else there could be, so it would be unfair if you didn\'t get full point here either [4]. And of course, the merging... there is none, but it looks good anyway ; ) [2].

Buildpic: 10

Model: Very interesting and new design here. Definitely not TA:ish but very cool anyway. The model, however is a bit too large in-game and it got too many faces, but the design is as I said is nice so the score is pushed up to 3.5. The texturing is nice too with the perfect color choice for such a name. The logos are also very good placed, but the back draw is that the creators did use some different textures, but didn't remember which textures they used and so the users are forced to make a 1.5Mb download. No problem for cable connection, of course, but we suckers with bad modems have less fun. Anyway, the texturing is good [5]. There is no corpse, but aircrafts shouldn't have any either.

Model: 9.5

Script: Standard wing-folding.

Script: Not counted

BalanceThe first mistake aircraft designers usually make is to give armor in proportion to the metal-energy costs. The problem is that all OTA missile weapons do double damage to aircrafts and when your 3rd party unit enters the game, it got double armor from scratch. So by cutting the armor in half, you actually give it the amount of armor that you intended to give it from start. Alright, on to the weapons... The Vamp does at maximum 44 points of damage, but the Vampiro does almost the double with one weapon only. Another problem is that the Vampiro is almost 50 % faster than the Vamp and due to that get hit much rarely. In my test game it flew over an enemy base with lots of AA units and got shot down (i.e. half damaged) after the twentieth or so round while a Vamp was killed within four so to balance this, you need to cat the armor, lower the weapon output to 30% of current and to decrease the speed from 17 to 15-16. That would do the trick.

Balance: 2

My score: I like the design and I can alter some settings myself, so I suppose this one is here to stay.

My score: 6

Total score: 5.9
