Buildpic: The only thing on this pic that is bad are the track shields. Instead of looking a bit blue, they are black and white and therefore looks more like wreckage pieces (thus the side closest to the shadow should be darker).

Model: This unit looks like Raider's big brother, but I'm sure this isn't a Cavedog Design. They wouldn't leave four useless faces left on the unit. It looks TA-ish and I certainly like the turret design, but it is a bit too big in the game, yous should consider making it 15% thinner (that's what I've done on my version and it looks good to me) [3.5]. The texturing is close to perfection, but the barrel and the sleeve are texxed in a really odd way, not following the illumination pattern of the rest of the body. I have (once again) taken the liberty of playing with the model and while I don't want to create yet another pic comparison, I have hosted up the [ 3do ] anyway. [4]. Thecorpse is there... wrecked, deformed and somehwat nice textured. I just dont understand why the barrel turns up like an "L" on the corpse [1].

BalanceOk, this weapon uses the groundbounce command to make sure that it runs through any unit in the way, for it is a railgun after all. Each time the weapon hit the ground before expiring it deals 60 damage and since the weapon can make up to 20 hits, it can in theory deal 1200 damage units to a thick pack of enemies. Divided in the 5.5 reload seconds, it gives a maximum theoretic d/s ratio of 218 and if the enemy units stand extra tight, some of them will be hit by the shot itself while alot of other would be damaged by the splash damage between two bounces and so the absolute maximum weapon damage/second lies much closer to 600. I mean, one sixth of that is too much... Because of the nature of this weapon, this unit is most effective when facing large packs of enemy units or raiding a tight base, but due to it's low armor it isn't any 1337 storm trooper and that almost balances the extreme damage out. The only thing hindering this unit from getting the 10 is as I see it the range. If you cut the range to 400, the weapon will bounce shorted and deal less damage

My score: Hmmm, I like the railgun, but wouldn't it look better with double (or even tripple) as fast velocity and no small explosions for every bounce? I tink I'll nick the weapon to the Killfrenzy unit I'm working on >=)
